Firefly Meadows Farm

Firefly Meadows Farm is a small footprint micro farm tucked away amid the forest in Bouchie Lake. We have a strong philosophy of working with the land rather than against it. As our little farm grows, we will incorporate regenerative and holistic methods that are in balance with the land as it originally stood. Many of our farm products incorporate forest foods and medicines as we honor the natural abundance that exists around us. With a strong background in Holistic & botanical medicine, our products are crafted with care, respect and as sustainably as possible. Our flock of holistically raised chickens provide beautiful rainbow eggs which are available for purchase at the farm. Periodically we will also offer chicks and pullets from our flock along with seasonal vegetables from our garden. Our artisanal Sourdough bread is also available for purchase weekly at the farm, at local markets and in town at The Den coffeeshop. Firefly Meadows Farm is also currently offering herbal salves, teas and handmade leather goods.

Certified organic, pork, chicken layers, chicken broilers

Our farm humanely raises Berkshire/Landrace/Duroc pigs, born on the farm with room to grow and thrive! We use our Farm gate Plus license to reduce the stress for our animal's "one bad day". Our pork cuts are vacuum sealed for longevity and so you can see what you are purchasing. All curing is done with celery extract powder and there are no fillers in our 8 types of sausage, just pork and spices. We choose to be Certified Organic so you can be assured that our animals are well taken care of and get feed free of toxic substances. We eat what we grow and want to share that awesome food with you!

KMS Land & Cattle Company owners Chris and Kayla along with their 3 boys take pride in their family-owned business. They are very passionate about raising quality meat, so you know exactly where the meat is coming from. Their ranch is located near Hixon BC, where they raise cattle, hogs, sheep, and poultry on naturally grown range with the best quality feeds.

At Colour V Ranch we strive to produce the highest quality of natural hormone free beef, pork, and chicken for your plate. We offer products by the side, ¼, or by the package.
