Meeting Facilities & Events

  • Cottonwood House
    Small meeting areas for groups ranging in size from 15 – 30 people are comfortably accommodated at Cottonwood House Historic Site. Facilities include access to a kitchen, meeting area, cabins for overnight accommodation, recreational activities, guided tours, wheelchair accessibility and catered meals.

    Cottonwood House is ideal for family reunions, birthday parties, camps or workshops and holds several
    events throughout the season. Facilities are available from the beginning of May to the end of September.
  • Hidden Lake Guest Ranch
    Rent the Ranch or book your Wedding or Reunion!
  • Pen-Y-Bryn Farm (Arena rental for sanctioned events - ropings, barrel races, jackpots, pony club testing and more. Please contact us for details.)

    In the spring of 2011, Pen-Y-Bryn Farm will be opening the "Bunkhouse", a 1200sq foot facility with six sets of bunk beds, home theatre projector, surround system and a root beer bar and little stage.   • The Quesnel Community Garden
    We provide community members with a garden space where they might share gardening skills and enjoy volunteering opportunities. We also have some audio/visual facilities including computer labs, power point projector, laptop and tech support.

  • Cottonwood House
    Enjoy a interpreted tour inside Cottonwood House one of the last remaining roadhouses in British Columbia (1864) and self guided tours of the interpretive centre, antique machinery display, farm artifacts, barns, root cellar and over 3 kilometres of wheel chair accessible trails in the Cottonwood forest and near the Cottonwood River.
  • Double M Ranch
    Come for an educational tour of our barnyard and learn about how animals help the environment, or take a one of our wagon tours and enjoy nature at its best..
  • Hidden Lake Guest Ranch
    Special events on the ranch include Spring Branding, Annual Smith Days and Fall Roundup. We also offer Wilderness Survival Clinics, target shooting and can even arrange your Big Game Hunting adventure.
  • Pen-Y-Bryn Farm (We offer cowboy camps complete with roping and working real cattle. We also conduct farm tours where you will see cows, horses, sheep, goats, chickens and gardens.)
